A HUGE celebration will be held in the town centre tonight to launch Burnley's Big Art Project.
Adults and children from across the borough are being urged to join in the party, the culmination of two years' work by 15 Burnley young people.

The art installation Invisible, created by art collective Greyworld, will be revealed during the celebration which begins at 6 p.m.

The launch event will include a host of activities including an art trail, a demonstration of ultraviolet painting and a performance by the Big Bollywood Brass Band including more than 40 musicians and dancers at the bandstand in St James's Street.

Invisible is a series of paintings and projections in 19 sites across Burnley, which only become visible when ultraviolet light is shone on them.
