A drunken Brit - who had just stepped off a plane from Manchester - celebrated an inheritance by trying to give it away to strangers at a Spanish airport, it has been reported.

The 59-year-old man, who was said to have been dressed like a tramp, laughed as he handed out travellers' cheques and notes at Palma airport on Majorca before police stepped in.

The man, who had apparently just received the money as an inheritance, was bundled onto a plane back to Britain by police.
