Lancaster student found safe and wellA missing Lancaster University student has been "found safe and well".
Noraina Andrada, 26, had been missing from her Lancashire home since August 25.
Lancashire Police said of the student, originally from the Philippines: "She has been found safe and well in London."
More the 300 people victim of fraud
More than 300 people in Lancashire have been the victim of credit card fraud in the past year.
Latest Home Office figures show 317 frauds have been reported to banks in the county between April 2007 and March 2008.
Just 15 of the 43 forces across England and Wales had lower figures.
The highest number of frauds was in London, where 7,330 offences were reported to the Metropolitan Police.
People arrested in cannabis raid released on bail
A dozen people arrested on suspicion of selling equipment to make cannabis have been released on bail.
Willy Banjos in Lothian Street and City Hydroponics in Great Shaw Street, Preston, were targeted, along with Water Culture Hydroponics on the South Ribble Enterprise Park in Walton-le-Dale, were raided by police on Wednesday.
They were among seven properties across Lancashire raided by anti-drugs police.
The dozen were bailed until November 12.
Driver hurt in collision
A motorist was freed from his vehicle after a collision between a car and a van.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to cut the man out of his vehicle on Heysham Road, Morecambe, shortly before midnight on Wednesday.
Paramedics took the man to the Royal Lancaster Infirmary.
Tithebarn consultations
Consultations will be carried out across Preston this month as part of the Tithebarn planning process.
Plans will be on view at the Tithebarn Information Centre, opposite the Town Hall, on October 14, from 2pm to 7pm, at the Citizenzone vehicle at Preston Flag Market on October 23 from 1pm to 5pm, and at a Catherine Beckett Centre meeting, held at Deepdale Road, on October 23 from 7pm to 9pm.
Rural cash is available
Lancashire rural entrepreneurs who want to expand their businesses can now receive help from the county council.
Any individual, group or business in rural areas can apply for funding from the Rural Lancashire Development Fund but must show it will benefit the countryside.

City to host the first ever eco-festival
Lancaster's first ever eco-festival will take place at the weekend.
Ashton Hall, in the city, will showcase 36 exhibitors, including renewable energy companies, wind and solar power firms, companies producing environmental goods and environmental projects.
Visitors will be entertained by pedal powered music. It is on Saturday, October 11 from 10-4pm at the Ashton Hall, Lancaster Town Hall. Entry is free.
Going green saves money
A green project hopes to help small businesses in the county save money.
The county council is offering to fund up to 50% of new small-scale renewable energy making equipment.
Lancashire County Developments Ltd will fund 50% of the cost and installation of items including biomass boilers, and solar panels.

Council hosts school debate
Preston council will be holding its monthly meeting at the town hall on October 16 at 1pm.
Among items being discussed will be the decision to turn Fulwood High School and Arts College into an academy.
Village rivals
Lancashire villages will battle it out to be named the county's best at an awards ceremony on Sunday.
The winners of the Best Kept Village award will be revealed at Stanley House, Mellor, from 2.30pm.
On the spot checks to boost safety
The Health and Safety Executive is conducting spot check inspections in a bid to reduce the number of industry-related accidents in Lancashire.
The unannounced spot-checks will allow the body to pick up on factors which have led to injuries or deaths in the work place.
In 2006/07, 816 people suffered from work place accidents, putting the area at the top of the national league for major and fatal injuries.
Music day will raise the roof
A Lancaster pub is hosting a 12-hour music marathon in aid of the city's homeless.
The Stonewell Tavern, on Church Street, will be hosting bands all day tomorrow to raise money for the Lancaster Homeless Action Service. All cash raised will be used to help the city's homeless people by funding a Christmas shelter.
Music starts at noon and runs right through until midnight.
Show is cat's whiskers
A pet club is hosting its annual charity cat show in Walton-le-Dale tomorrow.
The South Ribble Pet Cat Club invites pet owners to bring their cats along – and visitors will be able to browse charity and trade stalls, take refreshments and take part in a tombola.
The show starts at 11am, and cats will be show between 1pm and 4pm.

Popular Jim hits Bullseye
Former Bullseye presenter Jim Bowen has made a list of the top 10 best-loved game show hosts of all time.
Jim, who lives in Melling, near Lancaster, fronted the darts quiz show between 1981 and 1995. He came ninth in the online poll, in which TV stalwart Bruce Forsyth was top.
Light blaze
Two fire crews were called to a blaze sparked by a light fitting at house on Herbert Street, Leyland. No-one was injured in the incident, which happened at around 5.25pm on Tuesday.
