Service of Remembrance details released
The service will start in Croft Street shortly before 11am on Sunday, November 13th, and will be conducted by the Bishop of Burnley Rev. Philip North, chaplain to the Royal British
Legion Fr Roger Parker, senior chaplain to the Mayor of Burnley Rev. Patrick and and Fr Brian Keeley.

Hide AdThe Mayor, Coun. Jeff Sumner, will remember those who lost their lives in war, along with representatives from Burnley Council, the Royal British Legion, ex-servicemen’s associations, the armed forces, other uniformed groups, public organisations and the public.
People attending are asked to be at the Peace Garden no later than 10-45am.
The 4th Battalion Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment would like ex-servicemen’s associations and all other uniformed groups to assemble in the pedestrianised area of Curzon Street at 10am, for the parade to march off at 10-20am towards the Peace Garden.
On Remembrance Day itself there will be a short informal public service at the Peace Garden, starting shortly before 11am which anyone can attend.
