Book Review: Yeti and The Bird by Nadia Shireen
Books for children always seem to carry a social message these days. And Yeti and The Bird is no exception.
But it’s funny too, so we’ll let the author Nadia Shireen off! Yeti lives alone in a wintery landscape, mainly because no one is brave enough to go near the big, scary beast.
Until Bird stumbles across him and they make friends. It’s a simple tale, told in a gentle way, with lovely illustrations, a good bedtime book.
